Community Projects
Here at Zen we are passionate about using our platform within our community to give back to the people and organisations who need it most. Since opening in 2019 we made a pledge to do something each year, big or small. Here are a few of our community projects!
The Stadium Climb
Zen and friends did the Stadium Climb to raise money and awareness for Leukaemia, a cause close to our hearts.
Shave For A Cure
Liana, Haley and Jen all shaved their hair to raise money for Leukaemia by partaking in Shave For A Cure. A whopping $3,239 was raised!
Haircuts For Hospice
This event was held at Zen over a 24 hour period where there was non-stop haircuts for the Otago Community Hospice! Many local businesses, clients, friends and family donated raffle prizes, auctions, money, art, food, drinks and so much more which bumped up our possibility to raise more money.
We aimed for 10k and instead raised... $17,450!!!
Other Community Projects
Move Your Butt
Haley and Liana biked then length of New Zealand (1,600km) to raise money and awareness for Move Your Butt, an organisation which raises funds for bowel cancer.
Dunedin Food Bank
During the month of December our amazing clients, family and friends brought in food and supplies for the Dunedin Food Bank.
